ESRI (UK) are accredited by Buying Solutions as a supplier to the public sector

ESRI (UK) has been named an accredited supplier of GIS solutions to the public sector. It was awarded the status of Buying Solutions supplier because of its long experience of working successfully with public sector organisations and its commitment to providing value for money solutions.

The Buying Solutions framework agreement, which replaces the previous SCAT and GCAT frameworks, helps to reduce unnecessary bureaucracy and enables public sector organisations to procure innovative IT solutions more quickly and cost effectively. Buying Solutions enables local authorities, government agencies, police forces and other public bodies to issue requests for proposals directly to a shortlist of suppliers who specialise in providing GIS solutions. This will significantly simplify and speed up the procurement process for existing and future customers

ESRI (UK) is able to offer its services in the Buying Solutions geographical information services and solutions (GISS) category.  ESRI (UK) successfully tendered to supply in 2 lots;

• Lot 1 GI Solutions: enabling customers to procure end-to-end Geographical (GI) solutions including the provision of software and hardware.
• Lot 2 GI Map-making: enabling customers to procure map-making services ranging from collation of source materials using various technologies through to production of maps.

Under Lot 1 ESRI (UK) provides its core end-to-end GI solution provisions including consultancy, design, development, implementation, integration, data transfer, maintenance and support.

Under Lot 2 ESRI (UK) provides map making services ranging from collation of source materials using various technologies, cartographic presentation and design to printing of final map sheets.

Our Lot 2 offering also includes web mapping, digital mapping, aerial and LIDAR mapping services, map scanning and updating services, format and media conversion.

In both lots ESRI (UK) offers world-leading GIS software products, together with the following services: support, maintenance, training, configuration, installation, integration, customisation and application hosting.

ESRI (UK)’s products, technologies and specialist consultancy services are used extensively in local authorities, police and emergency services as well as in central government departments and agencies.

Buying Solutions is an Executive Agency of the Office of Government Commerce (OGC) in the Treasury.
