The International Map Trade Association
IMTA was formed to bring together in one association all those involved with maps, travel guides, globes, geo-spatial information and related products and services, to further their commercial interests. It aims to expand the market place for members’ products and services by providing a forum for communication, learning, networking and trade. IMTA consists of three regions: IMTA of the Americas; Europe, Africa and the Middle East (EAME) and Asia Pacific. Each region has its own office, board of directors and holds an annual conference and trade show.

National Land Information Service (NLIS)
National Land Information Service (NLIS) was established in the autumn of 2001, and is a dynamic IDeA, Information House e-government service with complete coverage of England and Wales.
NLIS is an example of joined-up government (local and central), inter-agency cooperation and public-private-partnership (PPP). NLIS provides one-stop access to land and property related information, initially providing searches for lawyers as part of the conveyancing process.
